About me

I started out at Destination doing work experience 5 years ago when I was in school, which brought me into the world of travel.

When I finished work experience I got offered to stay in branch and be a Saturday girl. In 2019 I started doing an apprenticeship. This was Level 3 Travel Consultant. It was great learning every aspect of being a travel agent. I completed my course in February 2022 and became a fully qualified travel agent! It was a long and hard journey trying to learn whilst being at home, because of COVID, but I got there in the end. I decided to up my skills more it would be a great idea to do another apprenticeship. This course is called Level 4 Sales Executive. I feel this has really upped my sales skills. I am at the end of my course now and will be finished by the start of 2024.

I have been lucky enough to visit some amazing places through work. In April 2022 I got taken to Cyprus staying in a 5* hotel living a life of luxury for 3 days. I visited Paphos marina and explored the local shops and restaurants which are lovely. In April 2023 I went on an amazing 10 day trip to Sri Lanka doing a few of the popular attractions. Two of the best attractions I did were climbing Sigiriya Rock and going on game drives and seeing elephants. This country just took my breath away. In November 2023 I went away to Dusseldorf to see the sights and visit the Christmas markets. Two of the brilliant attractions I did were going to the top of the Rhine Tower and going on the Ferris wheel. These are great ways to see the amazing views of the city.

In the past few years I have visited some amazing places, from laying on the beach and drinking cocktails to exploring the sights. The destinations I have visited on my own holidays are Tenerife, Rhodes, Prague, Belgium, Florida, Portugal, Fuerteventura, Ibiza and Italy.
I would love to go further afield and travel more outside of Europe.

My 4 main bucket list destinations are Australia, Santorini, Cambodia and Croatia.
