Destination

Shevaun and Lisa have always worked in the Silsden village Travel Agency, 3 years ago after the old company closed, Shevaun and Lisa were made redundant and decided to go ahead and set up Destination!

They have gone from strength to strength and in January 2011 recruited a new team member Jodie.  They all absolutely love travelling and helping clients to find not only their perfect destination but their perfect holiday. 

In May 2012 Destination won the Travel Weekly " Mystery Shopper" in the Keighley Area.  They were praised for there knowledge of the destination in question (Dubai) and there excellent customer service.

Shevaun Joy, Aged 35

I've worked in travel since leaving school in 1993, so 19 years. 

I absolutely love travelling, its my passion, love discovering new destinations and hotels, been all over the world on holiday and also to Travel Events and Conferences.

I studied at Bradford College, NVQ’s 2,3 & 4, I was awarded with the City and Guilds Excellence Award for my level 3, was presented with this at St James Palace by HRH Prince Phillip.

Favourite holiday: Western Mediterranean Cruise for 2 weeks in September 2010, I also enjoy Villa Holidays and Travelling in the UK.  I had a fab weekend at Butlins last year with the family!! I have lots of family in Ireland so know that area very well.

Love booking: Weddings and Honeymoons for clients, best thing about the job is client satisfaction.

Lisa Manditsch, Age 31

I have worked in Travel since leaving school in 1999, so 13 years.  I have travelled all over the world, been on many educationals through work, I have even been to Iceland, which was amazing, I even got a glimspe of te Northern Lights!!  

I studied at Bradford College, NVQ’s 2 & 3. Highly commended award for Level 3. I have also completed Trade Qualifications, Aussie Specialist, Dubai Specialist, Ireland Specialist and Caribbean Specialist along with others.

Favourite holiday: New York but I also love Las Vegas and Florida. I am a keen skier and have travelled extensively in Europe and the US to ski.  I really enjoy cruising too and have recently returned from a 10 night Caribbean cruise which was fantastic.

Love booking: Weddings and Honeymoons, Luxury, Ski and Tailor Made holidays. 

Jodie Clarkson, Age 20

(New team member) I am just completed my Travel Operations Management, 2 year Foundation Degree at Bradford University.  In September I will start my final year studying for a BA Hons Degree in Service Sector Management at Bradford University.

I joined Destination in January 2011 after completing a 2 week work placement through my University Course.

I really enjoy learning all aspects of the Travel Industry and love attending events and training courses and meeting people in the industry.

 Over the past year I have travelled substantialy visiting places such as Dubai, Corfu, Bulgaria, and The Azores to name a few.  I have even lived in Tenerife and travel back there at least once a year.  All of which I thoroughly enjoyed and feel I can recommend to clients.
